Piano lessons

Online, de la nivel începător până la avansat

Depending on what you want to play, we will identify the skills you need to work on, and develop those skills through exercises and strategic repertoire choices. We will be choosing pieces for your repertoire together, making sure to keep you motivated and inspired.

What to expect from our lessons

Initial assessment

We will talk about your piano experience so far, and set some manageable goals together. If you have studied piano before, I will ask you to play for me a little bit, in order to assess your current level. Don't worry, there's no harsh judgement here 😁

We choose the best genre for you

Depending on your choice of genre(s), we will choose some target pieces to work on. Don't worry if you feel like some of them are too hard, we are going to build the necessary skills to tackle them step-by-step.

Exercises and repertoire

My approach is based on a combination of music theory (when needed), technical exercises and repertoire building. In this way, I can make sure that you are developing as a musician while at the same time staying motivated.

A broad choice of genres

Classical

We can build a repertoire that represents you and that you enjoy playing, no matter which period of classical music you feel you best resonate with.

Pop, solo piano or accompaniment

I can help you play your favorite songs on the piano either by reading music, or by ear (we can do ear training exercises in order to develop that skill). Also, given my experience as a pianist in a voice-piano duo, I can help you arrange songs so that you can accompany yourself or others.

Jazz

Jazz is one of my favorite genres, it inspires me so much! My favorite jazz pianist is Bill Evans, I try to learn as much as I can from what he does. If you want to learn how to improvise and to arrange jazz songs on the piano (solo or as part of a band), then let's work together!
